PLEASE READ - A MESSAGE FROM LUKE. It is with great sadness that today unfortunately will be the last day of trading as you know it for Parkfield Angling Centre. I am sure that many of you will be shocked and saddened by the news that we have closed our doors but rest assured it is not the end entirely for all of yours favourite local tackle shop. For the past few years i have struggled with the demands of this industry with personal issues in life taking a toll on myself and it has sadly all become too much for me to carry on. I have decided it is time for me to personally retire from the fishing tackle industry. It has been truly a great pleasure and a rollercoaster of a ride for the past 15 years, making many great friends along the way. It is however now time for me to step away and hand over the reigns to some fresh energy and a team that are passionate to rebuild and create a new perfect Parkfield. I want to say thankyou to all the custom from anyone that has been shopping with myself over the past 15 years both in store and nationwide. The reach this shop has gained has been truly astonishing and i will forever be grateful for anyone that shopped with us be it popping in for a pint of maggots or calling up for a mega order from the other side of the country. It really has been a whirlwind of a ride and i have given my best but now is the time for me to step back and give all my energies to what's most important in life - my family, and myself. Please keep an eye on our facebook page for updates on what is happening in the future and please if anyone wants to say thanks for the memories and to show their support then the best way will be to get behind the new shop and the new lads when they get started in a few weeks.
