All new for the 2022 season, the top of the range Aero Technium MgS widely regarded as the ultimate Big Pit reel has now been massively improved. This is a unique reel of its kind, made up from Shimano newest, ground breaking technology when it comes to aid casting distance.

The list of features of this reel is remarkable: every element of Shimano technology available has been used. A Hagane body, Magnesium frame makes it incredibly light yet unbelievably tough. Hagane (cold forged) Gear for maximum strength, Infinity drive and Silent drive for increased winding power, smoothness and durability and a single piece bail arm in titanium to always guide line to the roller and optimum bail arm strength.

The most notable feature is a 45mm stoke spool with Super Slow 10 line lay system that lays 107 wraps of line per oscillation to obtain a perfect linear launch, reaching greater distance, more precisely and Rigid cast to be able to handle and better control all of that power exerted during a cast.
